Music Lessons
We are very proud of our music provision at Biggin Hill with 2 choirs, a variety of individual music teachers and a number of rock bands.
Choir
Children are able to join our KS2 choir ( Years 4 - 6) which runs from September to January. This comes with the opportunity to sing at the Young Voices concert in January at the O2.
The KS1 choir ( Years 1-3) runs from February - July and usually performs at the school summer concert.
Individual Music Lessons
We offer 1:1 tuition through the Bromley Youth Music Trust - see the link below for registration:
Instruments being offered can vary as they are subject to demand and request. We currently have a piano and violin teacher providing lessons. We work very closely with BYMT who hold regular 'try an instrument' days throughout the year.
We currently also have a private flute and brass teacher available, details can be provided on request.
Rock School Lessons
Rocksteady Music School also provides rock and pop band lessons, giving pupils the chance to play in a band and get hands-on experience playing drums, guitar, keyboard or vocals. Further details can be obtained from the school office or from the Rocksteady website:
